The 'City of the Immortals' has been selected by Australian Centre for Photography curator and director Alasdair Foster as a solo exhibition to take place in August/September 2009. As part of the events taking place alongside this solo exhibition, I will be giving a masterclass on my practice and a floor talk along with fellow exhibitor Nairn Scott entitled 'Seeing is Believing'.

Curated by Joe McNulty and Josh Tennant., 'Apocalypse Now' reflects on interpretations of the meaning of an Apocalypse today, and brings together artists from the UK whose work deals with Apocalyptic themes, from a very contemporary viewpoint to reflect on a very human dilemma. A special edition of The Liverpool Art Journal has produced inconjunction with the exhibition with essays by Lewis Taylor, Kenn Taylor, L. Edward Kelly and co-curator Joe McNulty.

Two images have been selected to feature in the exhibition 'The Art of Birmingham II' at the Waterhall Gallery of Modern Art, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. The show features work produced by artists from the region between 1940 and 2008, exhibitors include Juneau Projects, Tom Ranahan and Pamina Stewart.

'City of the Immortals' features as part of APhF:08, as a solo exhibition at Lily Fragaki Gallery, Athens. This years theme is 'Mediterrean', focusing on identifying and highlighting the cultural, religious and environmental features of the region to create a common intercultural framework. The opening is 11th November at 8pm.

The group show 'Ten' features as part of the third annual Brighton Photo Fringe, running parallel to the Brighton Photo Biennial. It takes place at Fringe Focus, 1-6 Grand Parade, Brighton, other artists are Amber Tomlinson, David Rann, Hayley Robinson, Laura Peters, Marlene Little, Penny McConnell, Robert James Egan, Richard Foot and Teresa Crawford-Docherty.

This autumn I am one of three artists selected by Rhubarb-Rhubarb to represent the UK at the Pingyao Photography Festival in China, along with Simon Roberts and Max Kandhola. A catalogue of the exhibition has been published entitled 'Round Table' by the International Photography Festival Federation ISBN 978-7-5059-6048-0.

Selected for the exhibition J G Ballard: An Autopsy of the New Millennium, this group show will feature images from 'Ultimate City' part of the Future Ruins series which explores the artistic and literary referents of author J G Ballard. A catalogue will be published in conjunction with the exhibition featuring a selection of my work.

Convergence by Ten features as part of the Ripe showcase, part of this years International Festival of the Image, organised by the photography development agency Rhubarb-Rhubarb. The exhibition takes place in the Main Gallery of the Light House Media Centre, Wolverhampton for the duration of the festival.

Relocating Absence is a group exhibition showcasing the work of thirteen internationally emerging artists. Through a variety of media, including sculpture, installation, video, photography and drawing, the exhibition offers a series of artistic interpretations of the theme, often playing with the constants of space and time. Absence, in fact, is essentially temporal – it is located where something was: it lies between the realms of Being (object) and Knowledge (perception, creation of a mental image). This exhibition is curated by Elisa Tosoni, Cherie-Marie Veiderveld and Simon Reuben White, accompanying essay by Matthew MacKisack.

Total Image Nation were invited to take part in Blankcanvas, a cross-platform performance event held in Leeds. Images from sixteen artists were projected within the building creating a massive display that could be seen from within the foyer but also from outside.

My work is exhibited as part of a series of large scale projections at Parcul Tineretului along with other international artists, part of the the 'I Love Bucharest' festival.

Opening on March 13th 2008 at Baskerville House in Birmingham’s Centenary Square, is a major exhibition of contemporary art by artists based in the West Midlands, celebrating the launch of Visual and its online gallery. Works are selected by a panel of professionals including Jonathan Watkins, Director of Ikon Gallery and David Drake, Head of Visual Arts at Arts Council England West Midlands.

Roll Up Art features the work of many international artists including Rogier Roeters, The Monk, Sandeep Paradkar and Ilgvars Zalans in a series of large scale projections and takes place at the University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest.

In photography ‘the decisive moment’ is continuously referenced: photography enables us to take a moment in time and preserve it forever, allowing the viewer an insight into our personal vision and perception. Situated in the corridors of an historic Victorian building, 'Time' is held at Tonic Art Space and is curated by Karen Harvey of Total Image Nation.

Showing as part of Architecture Week 2007, the City of the Immortals project was a solo exhibition at MADE in Birmingham. Architecture Week is a celebration of architecture and the built environment and this show was one of a programme of nationwide events. The exhibition was also featured in Fotomagazin.

Showing as part of Architecture Week 2007, this solo exhibition featured newly commissioned work Future Ruins. The exhibition took place at the Birmingham & Midland Institute, home of the Royal Institute of British Architects and was part of a nationwide programme of events. An interview with Terry Grimley appeared in the Birmingham Post.

Commissioned by Solihull Arts Complex, this solo exhibition had an accompanying catalogue with a text by curator and critic Roy Exley. A programme of events and workshops accompanied the exhibition which explored the relationship between text and fictional environments. City of the Immortals has subsequently toured to numerous venues, including Inverness Museum & Art Gallery.

Selected for The New Rotunda Show as part of the New Generation Arts Festival, Birmingham.

Photographies was a group exhibition at the Gwynne Studio Warehouse and featured nine artists who met at Rencontres d'Arles, France. Work exhibited was from the If I move... series of images and the show appeared in the British Journal of Photography.

Part of the Aarhus Arts Festival, this solo exhibition took place at Galleri Image, Centre for Photography in Denmark. In association with the show, a catalogue of Four Corners was published with an essay by art historian Ditte Maria Bangsund-Peterson. The exhibition and an interview was featured on the cultural radio show 'Kunstmagasinet', and an article by photography critic Mette Sandbye 'Foto Theatre' appeared in the Danish national arts paper The Weekendavisen.

Group show at the Hype Gallery as part of Europe's largest photography festival, Rencontres d'Arles in south France.

This solo exhibition was part of Culturefest and featured 30 works from the Four Corners series. The photographs appeared alongside the short narrative written in conjunction with the project. The exhibition was featured in international photography magazine Eyemazing.
